MISSION STATEMENT:

We strive to enrich the quality of life for all youth, senior citizens, and families in the Greater Houston Area, by providing a loving, caring, and inspiring atmosphere.

Youth will be actively engaged in stimulating activities throughout the year. Families will have opportunities to participate in social as well as motivational and educational activities. Senior citizens will be provided with support services to enhance their quality of life.

Our purpose is to ultimately stamp out youth crime, substance abuse, violence, and school drop-outs. Our goal is to promote better academic performance, present opportunities for advancement in society, improve quality of life by providing education, employment opportunities, and the necessary resources for at-risk youth, families, and senior citizens in the communities in which we serve.

WHAT WE DO:

Higher Ground Community Development Corporation, is a loving and caring charity that includes people of all ages from diverse backgrounds. Our charity focuses on providing the Greater Houston area with programs that address the needs of at-risk families through focused events, fellowship activities, and social training. Since our charity is rapidly growing, our goal is to impact the surrounding communities spiritually, socially and economically. We currently have programs in place which are already meeting these objectives. Some of the yearly events include our:

Annual Health Fair
Weekly Feeding of the Neighboring Communities (Clinton Park, Fidelity, Clinton View)
Quarterly Senior Citizen Home Visits
Holiday Baskets Giveaway
Tri-Community Fall Festival
